Enquiry guide
The price per metre is often the first thing people look for. We do not publish a one-size price list because two fences of the same length can need completely different work. Here we explain what affects the price and how to prepare an enquiry for a more accurate quote.
These eight things change the scope of work the most. The same logic applies to gates, canopies and stair railings.
Steel, stainless steel and aluminium differ in material cost, processing and fabrication method.
More metres and a taller fence mean more material and work, plus more posts and fixings.
Simple bars are quicker to make than wrought motifs, cut patterns or glass.
Sliding, double and bi-fold gates need a different structure and hardware from pedestrian gates.
The type of protection and colour affects both how long the look lasts and the price.
Fixing to an existing wall, parapet, concrete or stone needs different brackets.
Slopes, steps and corners change the number of parts and the complexity of the work.
Distance, vehicle access and working height affect how installation is organised.
You do not need millimetre-accurate measurements for a first conversation. This is enough:
Measure along the line where the fence will stand. If there are corners, measure each section separately.
Give the desired fence height and the height of any existing wall or parapet.
Measure the clear opening between posts or walls and note how much space there is alongside the fence for a sliding gate.
Note whether the ground is level, sloping or stepped.
Photograph the whole line, the entrance and details of the base. Photos often say more than measurements.
A photo, a sketch or a few sentences. We need to understand the space and what you have in mind.
We agree on the measurements, material, appearance and other details before preparing a quote.
We turn the agreed design into a fence, structure or custom element.
We arrange a suitable time and install the finished elements in your space.

We do not publish a universal price per metre. Two fences of the same length can need completely different materials, infill, gates and installation, so we prepare each quote for the specific project.
Photos and approximate measurements are enough for a first conversation about the design. A final quote and fabrication need accurate measurements.
We agree on the next steps and any measuring needed during our conversation, depending on the type of work and location.
Yes. Sliding, double and bi-fold gates differ in structure, hardware and installation. That is why it helps to say straight away which gate you need.
